Privacy policy

This policy explains how Simple To Work LLC ("Simple To Work", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit simpletowork.com, contact us, or use an app we publish. An app we publish may also have its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing; where an app's policy is more specific, that policy applies to the app.

Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company and the contents of your message.
• Website usage. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies or sell this data.
• App data. Apps we publish collect only the data needed for their features, such as account details, content you create and purchase records. Each app's listing and policy describe its data in detail.
• Client project data. When we build or run software for a client, we process that client's data only on the client's instructions and under our agreement with them.

How we use information

• To reply to inquiries and provide the services you ask for
• To operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and apps
• To send service messages, such as receipts, security notices and support replies
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run our business, including Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Google Workspace (email), Microsoft Azure (application hosting), Stripe (payments, for apps that take payments) and Anthropic (AI features, where an app offers them). They process personal information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. AI providers we use do not train their models on data we send them.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and to maintain business records, and app data for as long as your account is active. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Deleting your data and accounts

To delete an account or the data associated with any app we publish, email Ricky@simpletowork.com with the subject "Data deletion request", the app name and the email address on the account. We will confirm the request and delete the account and its personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law (such as payment records). Apps that offer in-app account deletion delete your data the same way.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access for staff and regular updates to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.

Children

Our website is intended for businesses and adults. Some apps we publish are designed for families; those apps are used through a parent's account, and their own privacy policies explain how children's information is handled. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
